I live in an apartment in an old house so keeping it cool is a big priority. I took this out of the box and it never got in the window. The accordion part of the fan that adjusts to fit in the window has two fastening screws to keep it in position…well they don’t work. I tried and tried but They would not stay out to fit my window. So back it went..

I guess you get what you pay for….
3 days after it arrived, I saw it for 30% less at my local A&P as a close out. No power at all to use as an exaust fan. Don’t waist your money

These fans are quiet, reliable, easy to use, and work effectively. I bought 4 of them for my 70s era split level. As long as it’s less than 90 outside, they’re more comfortable than using the A/C.

AWESOME – how have i lived here all these years without this- Turns on when temp rises and the fans are independent – really nice and economical. The window it is in is IN the house, between 2 rooms. Put the Fan in the top of the window to help circulate air thru-out the house – works so well my utility bills are down by 10%!!
