I bought this fan to put up in my workout room. I called someone to mount it on the wall and it is working out fabulously. I always find myself putting it on the highest setting because I like a lot of air when I’m working out on the treadmill.

The fan worked fine for about 2 days. 4 days later, it’s squeaky and rattles. Sounds like something is falling apart. The blades are metal, turning at high speed and now make noise. I have safety concerns about this unit. It’s going to be returned ASAP. Patton has been making high velocity fans for many years. Lasko is one of the cheap big box brands, now trying to make something that appears a little higher quality. Well, it’s not a Patton.
